The project examines what happens in the lives of socially vulnerable persons, including homeless persons, after ending rehabilitation.
Arbejde Adlers Hus in Copenhagen offers rehabilitation to socially vulnerable persons after hospitalization. Arbejde Adlers Hus offers rehabilitation when social, financial and health issues prevent a citizen from staying in his or her own home or other permanent housing.
Data provided for this study – consisting of cases concerning 80 persons in rehabilitation care and moving out of Arbejde Adlers Hus – was collected from 2012 to 2015. Apart from housing, the study sheds light on family relations, social life and the subjects’ complex health issues.
The project has prompted the publication of a small booklet in Danish.
