The EGV Foundation (Social Inclusion of Older Adults) supports and develops projects to help older adults in Denmark who suffer socially and economically.
The foundation aims to provide help to those among society’s elderly who feel lonely and socially isolated due to social losses and physical or mental impairment. Often, the loneliest people are also among the poorest.
The strategy of the foundation is to examine and do research on life among old people and to create and support social projects that will benefit this group and disseminate information about their lives. The objective is to serve as an inspiration to others who wish to help ensure a better life for old people. Moreover, the foundation aims to provide a qualified and diverse perspective on old age. Old people are just as different from each other as everyone else.
The EGV Foundation specifically focuses on homeless people, socially vulnerable people and migrants.
